Very plump, dark fruit dominated, black cherry with a ripe boysenberry component, spiced, black licorice, big, buttery notes, and a light floral aspect to the top. Very large on the palate, heavy dark fruit with a big pile of tannins. Hard to pick through the overall heaviness of the wine but has potential to develop with a good deal more time....
