Red fruit with a ripe plum underpinning, notes of graphite, and bell pepper as well, nice, round buttery quality to the nose. Broad and seductive on the palate and while it doesn't have the acidity to really push the wine, it's immediately approachable. Syrah, even though minor in the blend really walks over the Grenache....
