Dark fruited with cherry and spice, dried fig notes as well as some young, plump blackberry, fennel, black tea leaf, black licorice, and a light touch of cracked black pepper. Tighter on the palate, tannins still a bit upright but showing signs of letting up and giving way to a finer evolution....
