Initial reduction that blows off to dried blackberry, black pepper, and light anise notes. More red fruited on the palate, very simplistic in overall profile, but direct and drinkable although the quite clear manipulation of the wine has left it with some less than desirable after effects. Sealed with a Diam 5 for some reason....
