Dark cherry, boysenberry, quite ripe fruit overall, laced with vanilla and toasted notes, anise, black licorice, and some minor prune notes. Quite large on the palate as well but with some citric notes and more delicate acidity that makes for a longer finish. Overtly heavy bottle....
