Initially intense red fruit profile that shows a well of aromatic intensity, lets up a little as it opens giving way to light herbal notes and some tobacco leaf and black tea. Tannins quite dense on the palate with a need to let up a bit more as they hide the fruit a touch, but still a pleasing, fresh wine overall....
