Red cherry fruit with a good deal more weight to it. Not so lean and tough, not at all like Italian, but very different, tea leaf and mineral bits. Much more fruit forward in the palate, very rich, bigger take on the grape, decent finish where the more typical aspect of the grape come out. ...
