Initial dark cherry with red forest fruits underneath, good deal of ripe fruit, racy, touch of red licorice, chicory, nutmeg, dried blackberry. Ripe and structure on the palate, rich red fruit notes, gleaming acidity, tannins well integrated and a full, long finish. Big profile for sure, but balanced when taken in context....
