Powdery red forest fruit, dried raspberry and strawberry notes, bit of a chewy herbal aspect to it, light jamminess as it opens but spiced notes of bay leaf and red licorice. Very nice, fresh red fruit with reasonably integrate tannins that could perhaps use a bit more oomph to really push the wine but very nice drinking overall....
