Ripe dark cherry with light cocoa notes, dried herbs, sage, anise seed, red and black peppercorn, expressed orange peel with a lovely floral note over the top. Bit more barrel and vanilla sweetness on the palate still wrapping around the fruit and leading to a growing finish. Good deal of bundled up potential in the wine, but needs to evolve still....
