Dark fruited, dried cherry with dried herbal notes, light anise seed, great wealth of slatey notes, red peppercorn, and a light floral note. Nicely balanced on the palate and while tannins still show a bit tight, there's a wealth of depth to the wine and excellent length to allow it to flesh out in due course....
