Dark cherry and spices, cumin clove, quite earthy, curry and black tea leaf. Sinewy and chewy on the palate, tannins draped across what fruit remains, and there's a thriving, very, very lengthy acidity into the finish. Takes ages to open up and once it does, wants to shut down rather quickly as this is a bottle (and vintage) needing to be drank imm...
