Beefy dark fruit, good deal of boysenberry and dried blackberry, fresh, chewy licorice, and light anise notes, underlying molasses and a wealth of savory bits. Very nice balance on the palate, the largeness of the nose fades away presenting an overall fresh wine with a long finish that's just starting to open up. Only available in magnums....
