Cured lemon peel with a great deal of toasted notes and vanilla still dominant, wet herbs and a light stony note yet much is covered by the barrel aspects. Bit of desiccated fruit and floral notes on the palate, still very overwhelmed by the barrel aspects, good acidity holding it up but overall still packing a wallop....
