Very subtle dark fruits, dried dark cherries and figs, nutty notes at the back, menthol, compacted tertiary notes as it opens. Very articulate on the palate still with lovely aging notes that have developed and are still developing. Tannins still a bit blocky but the wine is destined for even longer aging.
