Good deal of dried dark fruit depth initially with soft dried herb notes, ever-present kick of anise and a sense of starting to open up overall. Initially broad on the palate, thins a bit in the middle, but in a pleasing manner that leads into a fresh, crisp finish with plenty of life to it....
