Mix of dried red and dark fruits, notes of strawberry and blackberry, waft of kirsch, fresh fennel, anise, chicory, and a base of toasted notes. Quite a bit heavier on the palate with the tannins really knocking over the general profile of the wine and making for a bit of unbalance....
