Dried red cherry with meat and texture across all of it, light toasted notes with a touch of menthol and a powdery, granitic mineral base. Despite the current frontal strength to it, there's no end of complexity and depth to this wine which will show wonderfully in five or even 10 years. 100 year-old vines with a south facing orientation....
