Dark fruited and well spice in the nose with a wealth of vanilla as well as toasted notes, fresh thyme, black tea, toasted red peppercorn, and touch of burnt caramel. Very delicate on the palate with a very broad fruit profile, taught acidity and a great deal of length. Just a shame about the ridiculously heavy bottle....
