Big spicy, peppery re fruits to it with a lot of initial heft showing the heat of the vintage, gives way to a touch of dried thyme and eucalyptus. Tannins show up overall rather smooth on the palate but doesn't give a great deal of length in the finish despite all the fruit contours leading up to it....
