Overall dark fruited with cured dark cherries and ripe boysenberry notes, plum, a touch of graphite and old wood, toasted hazelnuts, light potpourri and floral notes. Good deal of weight on the palate but tempered by a decent amount of acidity that, while running a touch green from the vintage, keeps the wine crisp overall and still evolving....
