Very mature plums, bordering on prune, sweet tar and black licorice notes, graphite, and a sweet floral dose. Very structured on the palate with a great many tannins giving overall grip to the body and into the finish with pleasing acidity that drives the wine, although comes up a touch short in terms of definition....
