Initially quite subdued aromatically but bright red cherry and wild strawberry notes start to emerge, savory cedar and roasted hazelnuts, mint, eucalyptus, fresh underlying spice as well as dried rose petals and lemon peel. Still a wealth of tannin on the palate but overall very rich and detailed in its structure with a finish that goes on forever....
