Weighty dark cherry and fig, light notes of laurel and steeped green tea leaf, lightly honeyed, floral note across the top with some wild herbs, fennel, and toasted anise seeds. Bit tighter on the palate with the oak still really showing in terms of sweetness and a strong vanilla flavoring, good volume but running short in terms of persistence....
