Dark cherries and overall darker fruit with a ripe fig note on top of toasted barrel notes, nutty aspects, dried lemon peel, nutmeg, and a light touch of cloves. Good deal of width on the palate but the licorice and tar notes come out further with a concentrated, yet rather short finish....
