Dark cherry notes along with some dark earth touches, olive tapenade, and a touch of laurel, and smoked tobacco. Initially quite rich attack and but a bit lighter in the finish. Quite interesting profile for the wine overall and showing that it handles the warmer vintage comparatively well....
