Dark cherry with a crisp plum note, cigar box, light toasted almonds, earthy spice, cumin, white pepper, anise seed, overall pleasing floral notes and underlying red fruits. Very nicely balanced on the palate with fine, powdery tannins and a very long finish. Older style with more barrel work, but very well done....
