This is the first full tasting of the wines from producers who have opted to label them under the established “Corpinnat” brand. The tasted was conducted at the beginning of December, 2019 at the premises of Llopart. All wines were tasted blind with the exception of the wines by Can Descregut which were tasted later due to their having joined Corpinnat after the main tasting.

This tasting report as well as “Corpinnat: Going forward” and “Corpinnat: Producers, profile, & terroir?” are a culmination of research following the events of: Corpinnat forming in 2018, the producers leaving DO Cava in 2019, as well as the grape-pricing scandal and ensuing harvest strike in DO Cava.
