Since the launch of the subscription system for Hudin.com in 2019, there have been two options: Classic & Pro.

The differences between them are that the Classic subscription is for wine drinkers in the general public who want access to the thousands of articles and tens of thousands of wine reviews on the site currently. The Pro subscription on the other hand builds upon this and adds in additional features for people working in wine whether that be in the trade or as a winemaker. There are more advanced search functions as well as the regional and variety databases that make use of the huge amount of resources on the site.

It’s clear that a third option was needed for people who are casual readers and want to keep up with regular recommendations via the In The Glass wine highlights, restaurant recommendations in Food Through Wine, travel in Drinking Well, or one of the many other categories that we publish regularly.

For this more casual reader, we now offer the “Casual” subscription which can be found on the subscription page. It’s been priced at a very palatable $30 per year ($2.50 per month) as it allows access to the last two months of article archives, but not the full wine reviews. It’s designed for those who want to keep up with the latest information for Spain, Southern France, and Eastern Europe, but for which the Classic & Pro subscriptions offer much more machinery than is needed for casual reading.

As this was created due to the suggestion from a Newsletter reader, we hope that it’s a great option for readers and naturally, we welcome additional feedback.

Drink well, be well. Be wine curious.
