The winery of la Carbonera is the Torres family’s project in DOC Rioja which is locally referred to as Bodega Soto de Torres in Labastida, Álava and is a quite a massive structure in the middle of the vineyards, outside the village. They have two wines under this La Carbonera brand however with Las Pisadas being the slightly more expensive one and then Malpastor, which is officially classed under the “Crianza” aging level.
