As was stated in the main report earlier this year, there’s a great deal to love these days in DO Vinos de Madrid. It’s ironic given that it was a flash point just over a decade ago that lead to the resignation of a Parker reviewer due to the shenanigans of a one, P. Campo shaking down primarily Jumilla, but also other regions such as Vinos de Madrid for 40,000€ for the reviewer to pass by.
