So, what’s a paraje/paratge? Well, whether it’s in Castilian (*) or Catalan (respectively), it’s like, you know, a lieux dit or climat. This explanation is of course only useful if you a) speak French and b) are aware of terms used in Burgundian parcel demarcation, which is why I never explain anything using these.
