It was very exciting to launch this extensive wine portal back in 2019 as it’s allowed for an extensive repository of wine reviews and articles on Spain, Southern France, and Eastern Europe. We were one of the first to launch a focused subscription site, but of course no one could have known that a mere six months after arriving, all events and travel would be shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Despite these complications, we’ve managed to compile a growing database of over 11,000 tastings notes with subscribers having access to one of the best wine search systems there is, file over 100 tasting reports, and publish nearly 150 longread features, as well as the extensive book reviews during these first five years of existence.

We’ve also been very happy to be able to report on lesser-known regions such as Albania (still the most comprehensive tasting of their wines to date) as well as Moldova. And we don’t plan to slow down on this front by any means while still providing in depth, ongoing coverage for the excellent wine regions in Spain, as well as the South of France, and growing coverage on Portugal.
